She also played in her first directorial film Whip It. Grey Gardens was her first film. She was awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award, as well as a Golden Globe Award. She was in the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet and currently hosts her syndicated talk show The Drew Barrymore Show.
