Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. She began her career in the field of real estate following her graduation from high school. Tarek El-Moussa and her husband, met in this business. They enjoyed a lot of prosperity until the 2008 stock market crash which resulted in a number of real estate investors and homeowners who were flippers fail. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa were nearly bankrupted by the stock market crash in the year 2008. The couple went from a $6,000 monthly home up to a condo that cost $700 per month. Their company, as well as the economy in general, slowly rebounded. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011 requested a colleague to assist him with making an HGTV tape which showed Christina and him flipping an entire house from beginning to end. Pie Town Productions, a production firm in New York City was the first to receive the tape. They were enthralled by Tarek's and Christina's love story. They officially signed a HGTV contract in the year the year 2012. "Flip of Flop" began its premiere in April of 2013. Between 2013 and 2017 92 episodes broadcast over the course of seven seasons. On the show, Christina and Tarek would purchase properties, usually homes with a moderate income situated in Orange County, and would follow up with several months making improvements so that they could flip the property to make profit. Tarek is in charge of demolition, renovations and design. Christina keeps everything running according to schedule.
