Awkwafina

American actor and musician Awkwafina debuted with sly hip-hop tracks that addressed sexual identity and race with a an incisive and humorous perspective, before increasing her presence in Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical journey as a trumpet player. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants and Korean immigrants. Also, she received Jazz and classical training before when she began to explore hip-hop as a teenager. In her schooling, she specialized in journalism and woman's studies. She also studied Mandarin during a time in Beijing. It wasn't until she graduated that she start focusing on music. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success through the Internet eventually landing on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. It also included viral hits, such as body positive Queef & winking home tour NYC Bitche$. The single that debuted was is directly linked to the album Awkwafinas NYC, her guide to travel in 2015. In addition to having published a book and a singer, she was also a professional as a singer. Aside from early TV programs like Girl Code and Tawk, she has also been featured in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018, her breakthrough performances included Dude Ocean's 8, along with Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she debuted her debut EP "In Fina We Trust".
