She currently is known for her role as the character of Special Agent Emily Prentiss on the CBS crime-drama Criminal Minds. In June 2010, it was announced that the Criminal Minds role would be cut in half for the sixth season. Brewster's part on Criminal Minds ended in March 2011 but could return later.
